Depression turns to Fun!

How do you turn depression to uplifting and fun?

In just 6 steps:

  1. Smile it really does help!
  2. Hang around people who love to make you smile!
  3. Know what's a trigger and avoid the trigger(s).
  4. Move around more. 
  5. Set goals, even if they are to just take a shower!
  6. Say one positive thing to your self every day!

Coping Skills

I don't know if y'all have your own coping skills, but I wanted to share mine!

  • Write- who says I can't just let my characters handle everything? 
  • Talk- Talk to some one you love
  • 5/3/1- Favorites game! 5 things you love, 3 other things you love, 1 thing you love. Categories are a fun way to do this!
  • Talk to the door- Instead of yelling at a person, tell the door.
  • Bands- Rubber bands! ware it, hold it, play with it.
  • Impossible- 10 things you know to be true, and 10 things fake or impossible.
  • Create- Draw, color, paint, origami,etc
  •  Read- Manga, Sci-Fi, Etc
  • "take a hike"- go for a walk
  • Music- as high as you can get away with 
  • Dance- turn up the music and let it move you

Alcohol Awareness

In the video I posted you get to see me and a few students act as if we work for a news company. In the video we  talk about some of the reasons teens shouldn't drink. One person in the video acts like he doesn't care about the facts. Another person acts more sense-able.
